Who I am.
“I find a profound existential joy in using the body as a tool to craft and evoke deeply humanizing experiences for both performer and spectator. The language of the body, both dance and pose, are spoken universally, the dialects ever changing and evolving and we as artists with them. Understanding this is the key to speaking the human experience.”
In Frame.
The emotional response of seeing a human body in pose is intertwined with our very being. Stillness can mean an infinite amount of things and convey a myriad of complex and nuanced emotions; creating a truly introspective experience for the viewer. The artistry of both model and photographer come together in a single moment creating something that grips the human eye immediately and connects to the individual. As a model, its paramount to understand the gravitas of that request and bring the entirety of yourself to that work. Approaching the craft in this light enables me to create emotionally richer, intellectually deeper, and meaningful content.
On Stage.
Regardless of where the stage is, how it’s lit, or even the artistic tone of the performance, the task required by the performer is the same; connect. There are no small stories. Every time you perform you have the ability to change how another human being sees the world and their emotional response to it. You have the ability as both a dancer and a choreographer to fundamentally change someone’s life and bring them to a deeper appreciation of what it means to truly feel alive. This is a sensation I’ve understood for as long as I have been dancing and its propelled me forward to connect with audiences at Entertainment venues around the world; each performance growing as an artist.
